What's Covered

All tool rentals include comprehensive insurance at no extra cost, protecting both renters and tool owners.

Accidental Damage

Up to tool value

Coverage for unintentional damage to rented tools during normal use.

Includes:

  • Dropped equipment
  • Water damage during use
  • Electrical failures
  • Mechanical breakdowns

Theft & Loss

Up to £5,000 per item

Protection if tools are stolen or lost during the rental period.

Includes:

  • Theft from secured location
  • Theft from vehicle
  • Lost equipment
  • Stolen accessories

Third-Party Liability

Up to £5,000,000

Coverage for injury or property damage caused by the rented tool.

Includes:

  • Injury to another person
  • Property damage
  • Legal costs
  • Medical expenses

Personal Accident

Up to £10,000

Coverage for injuries sustained while using rented tools.

Includes:

  • Medical expenses
  • Temporary disability
  • Permanent disability
  • Accidental death benefit

Excess Fees & Deductibles

While insurance is included, renters may be responsible for an excess fee (deductible) when making a claim:

Tool owners can opt for premium coverage with no excess fees for an additional 2% of rental value.

What's Not Covered

The following situations are not covered by our insurance policy:

Intentional damage or misuse of equipment
Using tools outside their intended purpose
Damage while under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Theft from unsecured locations
Normal wear and tear
Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect functionality
Damage from failure to follow safety guidelines
Using tools without proper training or qualifications
Pre-existing damage not reported at pickup
Unauthorized modifications to the tool

How to File a Claim

If an incident occurs, follow these steps to file an insurance claim:

Report Immediately

Contact us within 24 hours of the incident. For theft, also file a police report.

Provide Details

Complete the claims form with photos, description, and supporting documents.

Assessment

Our team reviews your claim and may request additional information if needed.

Resolution

Claims are typically processed within 5-10 business days. We'll notify you of the outcome.
