Your refund amount depends on when you cancel your booking
You will receive a complete refund including the platform fee if you cancel:
Covers accidental bookings or immediate changes of plan. Handi absorbs all payment processing fees.
You will receive a refund of the rental cost only (12.5% platform fee is non-refundable):
This ensures platform costs are covered while returning most of your payment.
No refund will be issued if you:
Protects tool owners who reserved the tool for you, potentially losing other rental opportunities.
If the tool is unsafe, broken, or not as described:
Report to Handi support within 4 hours of rental start time
If verified, you'll receive a 100% full refund including platform fee
You can cancel a booking at any time from your "Tools I'm Renting" page in your dashboard. Any applicable refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
